One of the most important things we fund with the money raised through our PTSA Family Contribution is Curriculum Enrichment. Curriculum Enrichment is bringing outside organizations into Renaissance or taking our students out into our community to enrich and enhance their education.  Three great examples of Curriculum Enrichment are the following:

Outdoor Education/NatureBridge 2016
Our wonderful Camp Chaperones and PTSA Members

The days at camp this past September were filled with classes, skits, art and leadership activities; it was an electronics-free camp experience.  Being in the rain forest means it could have rained or be misty, but it absolutely fabulously sunny and warm!  When your students returned at the end of the week they were tired from this amazing education! Writers in Residence Program (WIR)

This has been an on-going enhancement since last October 2016.  A poet has been working with students for 8 weeks, helping students enhance their writing and poetry skills.

Guest Artists

Over several weeks, Renaissance students have had a guest artist come into the classroom work with and teach the students mosaics.

We are excited on what is being planned for the 2018-19 school year!
